TAP Air Portugal has expanded its GRU Connect cargo service to Sao Paulo's Guarulhos Airport with a fourth route via Salvador, reported London's Air Cargo Week.

The new service adds seven weekly flights, boosting GRU Connect's total to 37 weekly cargo flights. TAP said the expansion strengthens trade links between Europe and Brazil by offering more flexible and reliable air-to-air transport options.

The Salvador route joins GRU Direct from Lisbon, as well as the Via Fortaleza and Via Brasillia services. TAP said the expanded network provides a competitive product that responds to growing trade demand between the two regions.

With the increase in capacity, TAP now ensures cargo reaches Guarulhos efficiently ad seamlessly, reinforcing Sao Paulo's position as one of South America's busiest cargo hubs.
