A Dutch government delegation will travel to Beijing early next week to seek a solution in the dispute over chipmaker Nexperia, Economy Minister Vincent Karremans said, according to Reuters.

Mr Karremans said a senior official team from his ministry will continue efforts to reach a mutually agreeable outcome. He welcomed moves by China to ease restrictions on Nexperia's chip exports but said he is monitoring whether trade from the company's Chinese facilities will fully resume.

The row erupted in late September when the Netherlands seized control of Nexperia, a Chinese-owned company based in the Netherlands, citing concerns about technology transfers to its parent Wingtech.

In response, China imposed export controls on Nexperia's China-made products, raising fears of disruption to automotive industry supply chains that rely on the firm's chips.
