Liege Airport has introduced a new scheduled cargo service with Supernova Airlines, connecting Liege and Ostrava four times weekly, reports London's Air Cargo Week.

The service adds capacity for time-critical shipments, e-commerce and industrial freight across Western, Central and Eastern Europe. It reinforces Liege Airport's role as a strategic gateway amid rising demand.

Founded during operational disruption, Supernova Airlines has built its model on resilience and adaptability. The new route reflects its focus on maintaining uninterrupted cargo flows despite challenges in traditional networks.

Frederic Brun, head of commercial at Liege Airport, said the partnership strengthens access to Central and Eastern Europe, offering reliable solutions for customers in regions where air operations remain difficult.

Natalia Holynskaya, deputy CCO and head of sales at Supernova Airlines, called the new service an important milestone in expanding the carrier's European network. She said Liege Airport provides infrastructure and expertise that support growth and high-quality transport solutions.

Both organisations expect the route to bolster regional supply chains, improve access to distribution hubs and support growing trade across Europe.
