Saudia Cargo and the Hail Region Development Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to boost air cargo and logistics services across the Hail region in Saudi Arabia, reported Zawya.

The agreement was signed under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Hail Region. He praised the Kingdom's leadership for its support of logistics development and highlighted Hail's growing role as a strategic hub under Saudi Vision 2030.

The MoU outlines cooperation in several areas, including aligning strategic goals, offering special shipping rates to stimulate exports, supporting logistics initiatives, and launching joint projects. It also includes marketing efforts to promote Hail's agricultural and tourism seasons.

Loay Mashabi, CEO of Saudia Cargo, said the agreement would strengthen logistics services, create opportunities, and support a competitive local economy. He called it a strategic step in the company's national expansion.

Omar Abdullah Al Abdul-Jabbar, CEO of the Hail Region Development Authority, said the partnership would help attract investment and improve trade efficiency. He described the MoU as a milestone in Hail's development as a logistics centre.
