The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) concluded its first-ever Air Cargo Forum in Abu Dhabi on 6 November, marking a milestone for the city as a rising global logistics hub, reported London's Air Cargo Week.

Held from 3 to 6 November 2025, the event was organized in partnership with Etihad Cargo and staged in a major sports arena. It was also the first annual edition of the Forum, reflecting TIACA's efforts to expand its global footprint.

The three-day gathering brought together air cargo professionals, logistics experts, policymakers, and technology innovators for sessions on digital transformation, sustainability, Middle Eastern cargo growth, and supply chain resilience.

TIACA Director General Glyn Hughes praised Abu Dhabi's infrastructure and connectivity, calling it a fitting venue for discussions on the future of air cargo. He said the collaboration and engagement demonstrated the strength of the global cargo community.

Stanislas Brun of Etihad Airways said the event reinforced Abu Dhabi's role as a centre for innovation and sustainable growth, connecting East and West. He highlighted the importance of partnerships and idea exchange in shaping the future of logistics.

Delegates also attended networking and social events, including an evening at Ferrari World. TIACA chairwoman Roos Bakker said the event expanded the association's reach and inclusivity, and thanked hosts and partners for their support.

Based on positive feedback, TIACA plans to return to Abu Dhabi in 2027, with dates yet to be confirmed.
