Unilode Aviation Solutions has announced a new partnership with American Airlines Cargo, adding the carrier to its global Unit Load Device management and digitalisation network, reports Singapore's Payload Asia.

Under the agreement, Unilode will manage American Airlines Cargo's entire ULD fleet, providing repair, maintenance and digital tracking services.

A tailored onboarding process included roadshows across the US and internationally, with training and information sessions to ensure a smooth transition.

Unilode has established a dedicated Customer Success Team for American Airlines Cargo, based in Dallas-Fort Worth and globally, offering 24/7 support and customized service.

Chief Operations Officer Janis Balkens said the partnership goes beyond ULD management, focusing on trust, tailored onboarding and dedicated support.

American Airlines Cargo vice president Sam Mendenhall said Unilode's expertise will help modernise operations and improve reliability and service quality.

The collaboration highlights Unilode's commitment to sustainable and digital ULD management, with a focus on long-term value creation and continuous improvement.
