HOUTHI insurgent leader Ansar Allah has warned that unless humanitarian aid flow is restored to besieged Gaza, they would resume attacked on "Zionist" shipping, increasing the risks of maritime attacks on Israeli and US vessels, reports America's Newsweek.
The Iranian-backed force, which has occupied the Yemeni capital San'aa for 10 years, has disregarded a recent US redesignation as a terrorist entity and threatened to resume attacks on Israel if the current Gaza truce collapses.
Houthis have disrupted global shipping through the Red Sea, one of the world's busiest sea lanes, driving up costs and forcing vessels to take longer routes.
"Confirming the readiness of the Yemeni naval operations, whose mission is to confront the Israeli American starvation and terrorist siege of Gaza," said Houthi commander Mohamed Ali Al-Houthi.
"Any escalation will be the responsibility of the Israeli and American enemies."
