THE global air cargo market saw an 8.2 per cent increase in total demand, measured in cargo tonne-kilometres (CTK), in November compared to the same period in 2023, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA), reports Ankara's Anatole Agency.

Total cargo capacity, measured in available cargo tonne-kilometres (ACTK), rose 4.6 per cent in November year on year.

Increasing global industrial production and international goods trade could further boost air cargo demand, though concerns about an economic slowdown may temper growth.
