YEMEN'S Houthi forces have pledged to limit attacks to Israeli-linked ships, provided all phases of the Gaza ceasefire agreement are fully implemented, reports Al Jazeera.

The Sanaa-based Humanitarian Operations Coordination Centre announced it would stop attacking vessels owned by US and British entities or flying their flags.

However, attacks will resume if Yemen is subjected to aggression by these nations or Israel.

The ceasefire agreement sets the stage for Red Sea transit resumption.

Still, shipping industry experts warn of potential disruptions, including congestion and freight rate collapses, as carriers and schedules adjust to new realities.
