MSC Air Cargo has partnered with WebCargo by Freightos, with a plan to add its airfreight capacity to the digital firm's booking platform.

The carrier said in a LinkedIn post that the partnership will enable it to offer more visibility to forwarders, as well as capacity booking options, reports London's Air Cargo News.

"Through this partnership, we'll be able to provide more visibility into our rates and contact information, and soon, we'll be able to share our capacity and booking functions on the platform," said MSC Air Cargo.

WebCargo has signed over 50 airlines as partners. One million digital bookings were completed on the WebCargo platform last year.

MSC Air Cargo recently took delivery of its fifth freighter, which will be operated by MSC-owned AlisCargo Airlines.

MSC Air Cargo launched operations in December 2022 and adopted Liege Airport as its European hub.

At the beginning of this year, the last of four newbuild Boeing 777 freighters was delivered to Atlas Air, which is operating the aircraft under an ACMI agreement with MSC Air Cargo.
